Privacy policy
What we collect when you read helloweekends or send us a form, and what you can ask us to do with it.
helloweekends is a reference on futures prop firm rules, payouts and trading hours. You can read every page without an account, and we collect as little about you as the site needs to work.
When you read the site
- No accounts, no advertising trackers. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising pixels or social media widgets.
- No cookies for readers. The site sets no cookies when you browse it.
- Your time zone choice. On pages with trading hours you can switch the time zone. Your browser remembers the choice in its local storage; it never leaves your device.
- Server requests. Like any website, our hosting receives your IP address and browser details with each request, to deliver the page and to block abuse.
When you send a form
The corrections form and the contact form send us what you type: the page you report, your message, and your name and email if you give them. With each message we also store the IP address and browser identifier it came from, and a one-way hash of your email, so that we can filter spam and repeated submissions.
We use this only to check your report, answer you and keep a record of the corrections we make. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Who else processes it
Only the providers that run the site for us: hosting, network delivery and email. They process the data on our instructions and not for their own purposes.
Links to other sites
Pages link to prop firms, CME Group and other sources. Links that leave the site tell the other site that the visit came from helloweekends; they carry nothing about you. Other sites have their own privacy policies. If a link is paid, we label it, as the sponsored content and affiliate policy explains.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep the record of corrections, and we delete them when you ask.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact form with the topic "Privacy request" and the email you used before. We answer within 30 days.
Children
The site is written for adults who trade or plan to trade futures. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
When we change what we collect, we update this page and its date at the top.
