Futures prop firms sell paid evaluations: you trade a simulated account, and if you follow the rules and reach a profit target, you get a funded account that pays you part of its profit. This page compares 12 futures prop firms that are active, publish their rules and accept US traders, on price, billing, drawdown, daily loss limit, consistency, profit split, weekend holding and platforms.

How firms get on this list

A firm is listed when it meets all three criteria, checked on its own pages:

  • Active. The firm sells evaluations or funded accounts today.
  • Publishes its rules. Evaluation and payout rules are on an official rules page or help center.
  • Accepts US traders. The United States is not on the firm's restricted-country list, or the firm says it pays US traders.

All 12 firms we track meet the criteria. The list is in alphabetical order and does not rank the firms. No firm paid to appear on this list or for its position.

Two firms meet the US criterion only indirectly. Alpha Futures' country list could be read only up to "Tajikistan", but the firm pays by ACH to US bank accounts. The5ers does not name the US as eligible, and the US is not on its list of excluded countries.

The 12 firms at a glance

Prices are list prices before promotions. "Cheapest 50K" is the lowest confirmed price for a $50,000 evaluation (or the plan named). "Not confirmed" means no official page showed it.

DLL = daily loss limit; EOD = end of day. Amounts for 50K accounts. Source: each firm's official pages, checked September 26, 2026. Notes 1–5 are below the table.

Notes on the table

  1. FundedNext's Flex page and general rules give a 95% reward share; one withdrawal article dated September 21, 2026 says 80%.
  2. MyFundedFutures' help center says evaluations bought from August 25, 2026 are one-time payments, but some plan pages still show monthly prices. Its payout policy says Builder has no daily loss limit, while the Builder help articles show a soft pause.
  3. An older The5ers help article, since removed, listed $100 for 50K without naming the program; we match it to Day Trade because its 25K price ($59) matches the current futures page. Swing prices are not confirmed.
  4. Topstep's consistency article says 55% with no buffer; its Trading Combine parameters page still says 50%.
  5. Apex's site showed only one price: $199 for the 25K Intraday evaluation, plus a $69 activation fee after you pass.

Terms: a trailing drawdown is a loss floor that rises with your balance (see EOD vs intraday drawdown). A daily loss limit caps one session's loss; a consistency rule caps one day's share of profit.

The firms, one by one

Alpha Futures

Alpha Futures sells three monthly evaluations (Zero, Standard and Advanced) and Direct, a one-time instant-funding plan. Every account uses an end-of-day trailing maximum loss. Funded Zero, Standard and Direct accounts may not trade from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news.

Apex Trader Funding

Since March 1, 2026, Apex sells one-time evaluations with 30 days of access and no resets, and you choose end-of-day or intraday trailing drawdown. Performance Accounts, its simulated funded accounts, pay 100% of approved payouts under a 50% consistency rule. Each Performance Account allows six payouts and then closes.

Bulenox

Bulenox has three paths: the classic Qualification, Momentum (one payment covers the evaluation and a funded Master account) and Fast Track (no evaluation). On each you choose Option 1, intraday trailing drawdown with no daily loss limit, or Option 2, end-of-day drawdown with a daily loss limit.

Earn2Trade

Earn2Trade sells two monthly programs, the Trader Career Path and the Gauntlet Mini, both with a daily loss limit and a 30% consistency rule in the evaluation. Its split changed on July 6, 2026 to 50/50 below a withdrawal threshold and 80/20 above it.

FundedNext Futures

FundedNext Futures sells three one-time challenges, Flex, Legacy and Rapid Pro & Daily, with no activation fee. All use an end-of-day trailing maximum loss. Only Rapid Daily has a daily loss limit by default; Rapid Pro offers one as an add-on.

Lucid Trading

Lucid Trading sells three one-time evaluations (LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDaily) and LucidDirect, an instant-funding plan. On the evaluations you choose at checkout whether the account has a daily loss limit.

Phidias Propfirm

Phidias sells Express to Live, Fundamental and Premium accounts, with monthly or one-time billing, and none of them has a daily loss limit. Premium accounts may hold positions overnight and "over-week", according to the firm's rules page.

Take Profit Trader

Take Profit Trader sells a monthly Test in five sizes, from 25K to 150K, with no daily loss limit. Passing leads to a simulated PRO account, with payouts from day one, after a one-time $130 activation fee.

The5ers Futures

The5ers runs its futures program on BlackArrow only, with two programs, Day Trade and Swing, sold for a one-time fee. Swing accounts may hold one mini or 10 micros overnight, but not over the weekend.

Topstep

Topstep sells the Trading Combine as a monthly subscription on two paths: Standard ($49 a month for 50K, plus $149 per Express Funded Account) or No Activation Fee ($95 a month). TopstepX is its only trading platform, and all positions must be closed by 3:10 p.m. CT.

Tradeify

Tradeify sells one-time Growth and Select evaluations and Lightning Funded, an instant-funding plan, with no activation fee. All plans use an end-of-day trailing drawdown.

Other lists

The same 12 firms, sorted by one fact at a time: cheapest futures prop firms, instant funding prop firm plans, prop firms with no daily loss limit, prop firms with end of day drawdown, prop firms that allow overnight holding and futures prop firms by platform. Changes go into the rule change log.

To line up the 12 firms on the rules you pick, use the futures prop firm comparison.

Know the riskA prop firm evaluation is a paid service with simulated trading. Most people who buy one do not pass it, and firms change their rules, pause payouts and close. Read each firm's current rules before you buy. Not investment advice.
