Phidias rules depend on the account family. Express to Live uses a static drawdown that never trails and needs no minimum trading days. Fundamental and Premium use an end-of-day trailing drawdown. None of the three has a daily loss limit or a consistency rule in the evaluation, and news trading is allowed. Only Premium lets you hold positions overnight.
Phidias Propfirm Limited is a Gibraltar company. Every path starts with an evaluation, a paid service with simulated trading. After you pass, you trade a CASH account, Phidias's name for its funded stage.
Rules on every Phidias account
- No daily loss limit. The rules page lists none for any family. An older Phidias education page mentions daily loss limits, but it predates Phidias 2.0.
- News trading is allowed.
- Futures only. CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX and EUREX; EUREX data is an optional add-on. Currency exposure comes only from CME FX futures, and crypto only from Micro Bitcoin (MBT) and Micro Ether (MET) futures.
- No automated trading. Automated and high-frequency trading are not permitted; semi-automated trading is. One-tick Treasury arbitrage is banned.
- Account limits. Up to 5 CASH or LIVE accounts in each family, 15 in total. A 150K Fundamental or Premium CASH account counts as two slots. For the Express to Live 150K, the rules page counts it as one of your 5 slots, while the Terms allow only one per trader.
- Platforms. Rithmic, DeepCharts, Tradovate, NinjaTrader and Quantower. TradingView orders run through Tradovate.
Plans and prices
Express to Live can be bought two ways: an evaluation-only fee paid once for life, plus an activation fee when you pass, or a one-time fee that covers the evaluation and the CASH account with no activation fee. Fundamental and Premium are sold monthly, with an activation fee on passing, or for a one-time fee without one. Prices are list prices before discount codes.

Express to Live
The drawdown is static: the liquidation level is fixed and never moves up. On a 50K it is $49,350, $650 below the start, however high your balance goes. There are no minimum trading days and no consistency rule at any stage, and you must be flat by the end of each session.
Fundamental
Fundamental needs at least three trading days to pass. The drawdown is $2,500 on a 50K and trails your end-of-day balance. You must close all positions by 9:59 p.m. UTC. On the CASH account the floor stops trailing at the starting balance plus $100, and a 30% consistency rule applies: no single day may be more than 30% of your profit, measured over at least four days.
Premium
Premium replaced the Swing accounts on April 27, 2026. It has the same targets and drawdown as Fundamental but needs one trading day, and it is the only family that allows holding overnight and, in Phidias's words, "over-week". The CASH account is funded one trading day after you pass, and Phidias offers one CASH account reset within 24 hours ($399 on a 50K).
Minimum days are stated two ways. The general-rules box on the rules page and a help-center article updated May 3, 2026 say three days to pass, which matches Fundamental only. The family sections and the Terms say one day for Premium and none for Express to Live.
Worked example: trailing vs static drawdown on a 50K
On a 50K Fundamental you start at $50,000 with a $2,500 drawdown, so the floor is $47,500. It trails your end-of-day balance: finish a day at $51,000 and the floor moves to $48,500. On the CASH account it stops at $50,100, which it reaches when your end-of-day balance hits $52,600. On a 50K Express to Live the liquidation level stays at $49,350 from the first day, however high the balance goes, but you only have $650 of room below the start.
What breaks a Phidias account
- Touching the liquidation level (Express to Live) or the trailing floor (Fundamental and Premium).
- Holding a position past the session end on Express to Live, or past 9:59 p.m. UTC on Fundamental.
- Automated or high-frequency trading, or one-tick Treasury arbitrage, which Phidias bans.
The 10K Drawdown Challenge is a monthly competition, not a funded plan, so it is not covered here.

Know the riskA Phidias evaluation is a paid service with simulated trading. Most people who buy one do not pass it, and firms change their rules, pause payouts and close. Not investment advice.
