Earn2Trade rules cover two monthly-subscription evaluations: the Trader Career Path (TCP) and the Gauntlet Mini. Both use an end-of-day trailing drawdown, a daily loss limit, a 30% consistency rule and a contract ladder. You must be flat by 3:50 p.m. CT, and news trading is allowed. Since July 6, 2026 there is no minimum number of trading days for new evaluations.

Rules on every Earn2Trade evaluation

  • Flat by 3:50 p.m. CT (4:50 p.m. ET). All positions and working orders must be closed by 15:50 CT in evaluation and funded accounts. There is no overnight or weekend holding.
  • End-of-day trailing drawdown. In the evaluation and on LiveSim accounts, your minimum balance rises with your end-of-day profit. Live accounts use an intraday trailing drawdown, and the $200K and $400K TCP accounts use a fixed drawdown.
  • Daily loss limit on every plan. The amount depends on the plan.
  • 30% consistency rule, evaluation only. Earn2Trade says that in practice this means at least four profitable days to pass. There is no consistency rule once you are funded.
  • Progression ladder. Each plan has a contract ladder that caps how many contracts you may trade. Since July 6, 2026, going over the ladder in an evaluation is a hard fail.
  • News trading is allowed.
  • Account limits. Up to 5 evaluations at once. Funded: up to 3 LiveSim or Live accounts, and only 1 Live.
  • Not allowed. Trade copiers across evaluation and funded accounts; forex, Bitcoin and Ether futures on funded accounts.
  • Platforms. Rithmic, Tradovate, NinjaTrader (through the NinjaTrader-Tradovate unified API), TradingView and Quantower with your own license. Finamark, R|Trader Pro and BlackArrow are free.
  • No retroactive changes. Earn2Trade states it never changes rules retroactively; a new rule applies to evaluations bought on or after its date.

Plans and prices

Both programs are single-phase evaluations billed monthly, with no subscription once you are funded. Earn2Trade's program pages load each plan in tabs, and only TCP25 and GAU50 were readable. A help article lists subscription prices of $150, $170, $190, $315, $350 and $550 without saying which plan each belongs to, so the other prices say "Not confirmed".

There is no upfront activation fee. When you reach a LiveSim account, a one-time $139 activation fee (non-professional CME data status) is taken from your first withdrawal. Professionals and Live accounts pay CME data fees: $140 a month per exchange on Rithmic, or $156 on NinjaTrader.

Trader Career Path or Gauntlet Mini

Trader Career Path

TCP25, TCP50 and TCP100 lead into a growth plan with funded steps. TCP25 can grow to $200K, and TCP50 and TCP100 to $400K. Each step has its own goal, drawdown, daily loss limit and contract cap; the steps are listed on the payouts page. Resets are free on each monthly rebill.

Gauntlet Mini

GAU50, GAU100, GAU150 and GAU200 lead to a funded account of a fixed size, with no steps to climb. GAU50 gets no free reset on rebill. Once funded, there is no consistency rule or buffer.

Worked example: TCP25

You start at $25,000 with a $1,500 end-of-day trailing drawdown, so your minimum balance is $23,500. If you finish a day at $25,600, the minimum rises to $24,100 at the end of that day. Losing $550 in one day hits the daily loss limit. You reach the $1,750 goal at $26,750. To pass you also need to stay within 3 contracts and the 30% consistency rule, which Earn2Trade says takes at least four profitable days.

What breaks an Earn2Trade evaluation

  • Falling to the minimum balance set by the drawdown.
  • Trading more contracts than the progression ladder allows. This is a hard fail since July 6, 2026.
  • Holding a position or working order past 3:50 p.m. CT.
  • Hitting the daily loss limit. The pages we read do not say whether this ends the evaluation or only the trading day.
  • Using a trade copier across evaluation and funded accounts.

Recent rule changes

  • August 17, 2026: BlackArrow added for all evaluations at no extra cost.
  • July 6, 2026: no minimum number of trading days to pass (was 10 trading days), for evaluations bought from that date.
  • July 6, 2026: the funded split changed from a standard 80/20 to 50/50 below a withdrawal threshold and 80/20 at or above it.
  • June 30, 2026 (announced June 15): NinjaTrader moved to the NinjaTrader-Tradovate unified API; the legacy NinjaTrader-Rithmic connection ended.
  • June 22, 2026: maximum concurrent evaluations raised from 3 to 5.

Some official blog posts updated in March 2026 still describe the 10-day minimum and a flat 80% split; the July 6, 2026 announcement replaces them. All changes are in the rule change log. Withdrawal terms are on the Earn2Trade payout rules page.

Know the riskAn Earn2Trade evaluation is a paid service with simulated trading. Most people who buy an evaluation do not pass it, and firms change their rules, pause payouts and close. Read Earn2Trade's current rules before you buy. Not investment advice.
