Rules checked on · The5ers' official payout caps · By helloweekends Editors
The5ers Futures payout rules give you 80% of profits. You can request your first payout 14 days after the funded account is activated, with at least $150 of profit, and then every 14 days. Payouts are capped: $1,250 on the 25K and 3% of the current balance on larger accounts. The evaluation fee is refunded after your third payout.
The5ers pays from its own funds under its terms, and it can change or pause payouts. Some terms below come from The5ers' general withdrawal FAQ, which covers all its programs rather than futures only; we say where.
Payout caps by account size
Two official pages give different caps. The the5ers.com futures FAQ (updated August 18, 2026) is newer than the futures help center (June 2026), so the table uses the5ers.com values and shows the older ones beside them.
| Size | Cap (the5ers.com FAQ) | Cap (help center, June 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| 25K (Day Trade / Swing) | $1,250 per payout | No separate value |
| 50K (Day Trade / Swing) | 3% of current balance | $1,500, $2,000, $2,500 and $3,000 for payouts 1–4, then $3,000 |
| 100K (Day Trade / Swing) | 3% of current balance | $3,000 first payout, then 3% |
| 150K (Day Trade / Swing) | 3% of current balance | $4,500 first payout, then 3% |
Profit split and schedule
- Split: 80/20 in your favor, from the futures page's scaling example.
- First request: 14 days after the funded account is activated (general withdrawal FAQ).
- After that: every 2 weeks from the last approved withdrawal. Scaling up resets the 14-day timer.
- Minimum: $150 of profit, and all positions must be closed before you request.
- Processing: within up to 3 business days.
The funded 4% target and scaling
The futures page shows a 4% "Profit Target" for the funded stage and 10% milestones for scaling. Each milestone adds 5% buying power and 1 mini or 10 micros, up to $500K. The official pages we read do not say whether the 4% must be reached before a payout, so treat it as not confirmed and ask The5ers.
Your first payout, step by step
- Pass the evaluation: reach the 6% target without touching the 4% max loss, within the 40% per-position rule. The details are on the The5ers Futures rules page.
- Wait 14 days after the funded account is activated.
- Have at least $150 of profit and close all positions.
- Request no more than your cap and choose a method.
- The5ers processes the payout within up to 3 business days. After your third payout, the evaluation fee is refunded.
Payout methods and fees
| Method | Commission | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Rise | 3.5% | — |
| Crypto: USDT (TRC20), USDC (ERC20), ETH, LTC | 3.5% | $1,500 per withdrawal |
| Bank transfer | 3.5% | — |
| Hub Credits | None | Only for buying programs; cannot be withdrawn |
What can hold up a payout
- An open position: all positions must be closed before you request.
- Scaling up: reaching a scaling milestone resets the 14-day timer.
- Profit under $150: the minimum request is $150 of profit.
Worked example: a 25K funded account
The 25K cap is $1,250 per payout. Say you have $1,000 of profit 14 days after activation and no open positions. That is above the $150 minimum and under the cap, so you can request it, and your 80% share is $800 before the method's commission.
Worked example: a 100K funded account
Say your balance is $104,000 when you request. The cap is 3% of the current balance, which is $3,120. If you withdraw $3,000 of profit, your 80% share is $2,400. Rise, crypto and bank transfer then take a 3.5% commission. Hub Credits have no commission but can only buy programs. Under the older help-center figures, a first 100K payout is capped at $3,000.
Taxes
The5ers' pages we read say nothing about US tax forms for futures payouts. For the US basics, see how to file prop firm taxes. General information, not tax advice.
Recent payout changes
An official The5ers blog post of May 11, 2026 describes an earlier futures setup in which the first payout was capped at 50% of profits. Current pages show the caps above instead. The5ers has not published a dated notice, so there is no entry in the rule change log yet.
Know the riskAn evaluation at The5ers Futures is a paid service with simulated trading. Most people who buy one do not pass it, and firms change their rules, pause payouts and close. Not investment advice.
