The5ers Futures rules cover two programs, Day Trade and Swing. Both are one-time-fee evaluations with a 6% profit target, a 4% end-of-day trailing max loss and a 40% per-position consistency rule. Day Trade must be flat before the daily close; Swing may hold a small position overnight. Neither allows weekend holding, and news trading is allowed on both.
Rules on both programs
- 6% profit target. On a 50K account that is $3,000.
- 4% max loss, trailing. The max loss is measured from the highest midnight balance or equity. It trails up and never moves down.
- 40% per-position consistency. It applies in the evaluation and on the funded account.
- No minimum days. The futures page says you can pass in one day.
- Contract limits are the same in the evaluation and on the funded account (table below).
- News trading is allowed. Arbitrage and HFT trades lasting seconds or less are prohibited.
- Up to five futures accounts at the same time, per the General Rules FAQ.
- Platform. BlackArrow is the only futures platform, on desktop, web, iOS and Android.
- Markets. CME equity index and currency futures, COMEX metals and other commodity and energy futures. The part of the instrument list we could read showed no crypto futures.
- Scaling. Each 10% milestone adds 5% buying power and 1 mini or 10 micros, up to $500K.
Programs and prices
The futures page showed only its default card: the 25K at $59. A help-center article lists $59, $100, $170 and $199 for the 25K to 150K sizes without naming the program; we list them under Day Trade because the $59 card matches. Swing prices were not on any official page we could read, and we could not confirm that Swing is sold in 100K and 150K sizes.
| Program | Size | Price | Profit target | Max loss | Daily drawdown | Max contracts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day Trade | $25,000 | $59 | 6% ($1,500) | 4% ($1,000) | None stated | 2 / 20 |
| Day Trade | $50,000 | $100 | 6% ($3,000) | 4% ($2,000) | None stated | 4 / 40 |
| Day Trade | $100,000 | $170 | 6% ($6,000) | 4% ($4,000) | 2.5% | 8 / 80 |
| Day Trade | $150,000 | $199 | 6% ($9,000) | 4% ($6,000) | 2.5% | 12 / 120 |
| Swing | $25,000 | Not confirmed | 6% ($1,500) | 4% ($1,000) | None stated | 2 / 20 |
| Swing | $50,000 | Not confirmed | 6% ($3,000) | 4% ($2,000) | None stated | 4 / 40 |

Holding and closing times
- Day Trade: close all positions and cancel pending orders at least 10 minutes before the daily close. The FAQ writes this time as "4:50 PM CET"; confirm the time zone with The5ers before you rely on it.
- Swing: you may hold up to 1 mini or 10 micros overnight.
- Both: no weekend holding. Exchange sessions are on our futures market hours page.
Activation fee: none
The futures page lists no activation fee upon passing on Day Trade or Swing (checked September 27, 2026). An older help-center article said Day Trade had a one-time fee after passing; that article has been removed.
Worked example: Day Trade 100K
You start at $100,000. The target is 6%, so you pass at $106,000. The max loss is 4%, or $4,000, so the floor starts at $96,000. It rises when your highest midnight balance or equity rises and never falls. The General Rules FAQ adds a 2.5% daily drawdown on this size. You may trade up to 8 minis or 80 micros, and you must be flat 10 minutes before the daily close.
What breaks The5ers Futures rules
- Balance or equity reaching the 4% max loss level.
- Going past the 2.5% daily drawdown on a 100K or 150K account.
- Holding a Day Trade position into the last 10 minutes before the close, more than 1 mini or 10 micros overnight on Swing, or any position over the weekend.
- Arbitrage, or HFT trades lasting seconds or less.
Errors on The5ers' own pages
The General Rules FAQ (updated August 20, 2026) lists MetaTrader 5 as the platform, while the platform FAQ says BlackArrow is the only futures platform. It also labels the 4% end-of-day max loss as "Maximum daily loss" and quotes only 25K values. It is still the only official source for the 2.5% daily drawdown. Where it differs from the dedicated FAQ pages, we follow the dedicated pages.
Who runs The5ers
The5ers' Terms and Conditions name Five Percent Online Ltd, company no. 12553363 in England and Wales and company no. 515864007 in Israel. The registered office is at 168 Praed Street, London, and the headquarters at 2 HaTidhar St, Raanana, Israel. The Terms are governed by Israeli law.
The futures FAQ (July 15, 2026) accepts traders over 18 from all over the world except a listed set of countries, which includes Israel and Russia. The United States is not on that list. The Terms bar US residents only from MetaQuotes platforms, which the futures program does not use. We found no official page that names the US as eligible for futures, and we have not been able to confirm an NFA registration.
Recent rule changes
We have no dated The5ers Futures entry in the rule change log. An official The5ers blog post of May 11, 2026 describes an earlier futures setup: Basecamp and Rebate pricing, $25K and $50K accounts only, a 3% end-of-day max loss and a 30% per-position consistency rule. Current official pages show Day Trade and Swing, a 4% max loss, a 40% rule and sizes up to $150K. The5ers has not published a dated notice of the change. Payout caps and the schedule are on our The5ers Futures payout rules page.
Know the riskAn evaluation at The5ers Futures is a paid service with simulated trading. Most people who buy an evaluation do not pass it, and firms change their rules, pause payouts and close. Read The5ers' current rules before you buy. Not investment advice.
