FundedNext Futures rules depend on the challenge you buy: Flex, Legacy or Rapid Pro & Daily. All three are one-time purchases with no activation fee and an end-of-day trailing maximum loss. The daily loss limit and the 40% consistency rule differ by challenge. Open positions are closed automatically at 3:10 p.m. CT, and news trading is allowed.
Rules on every FundedNext Futures challenge
- Positions close at 3:10 p.m. CT (4:10 p.m. ET). Market hours are 5:00 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. CT. Open positions are closed automatically at 3:10 p.m. CT, and the Terms do not allow holding trades overnight beyond the close. The market closes Friday at 3:10 p.m. CT and reopens Sunday at 5:00 p.m. CT, so there is no weekend holding.
- Maximum loss limit (MLL), end of day, trailing. The MLL is the lowest your balance may go. It is set from your highest end-of-day balance and, in the challenge, stops rising once it reaches your starting balance. See EOD vs intraday drawdown.
- News trading is allowed.
- No minimum days. Rapid can be passed in one day. Legacy and Flex take as little as three days because of the 40% rule.
- Inactivity. An account is deactivated after 30 consecutive calendar days without a trade.
- Platforms. NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView.
- Markets. CME equity index and FX futures, COMEX metals, NYMEX energy, CBOT agricultural and CME livestock futures. No crypto futures are listed.
- Bots: official pages conflict. The General Rules page "What is Allowed" says EAs and bots are allowed on challenge and funded accounts. Futures Challenge Terms section 2.2.6 says automated trading bots and ultra-high-speed strategies are not allowed.
Challenges and prices
The prices below are FundedNext's regular prices for a one-time purchase. Promotional codes on its pages lowered them on the day we checked, and the Rapid page's FAQ shows different launch prices from the product cards, so check the price at checkout. FundedNext also sells CFD programs; this page covers only the futures program.

Flex and Legacy
Neither has a daily loss limit. A 40% best-day consistency rule applies in the challenge only: your best day may not be more than 40% of your profit. If it is, you do not fail. Instead the profit target rises to your best day's profit divided by 40%.
Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily
You choose the path when you buy. Rapid Pro has no daily loss limit by default; adding one at purchase lowers the fee. It has no consistency rule in the challenge and a 40% rule on the funded account. Rapid Daily has a daily loss limit in both the challenge and the funded account, and no consistency rule. On both paths the daily loss limit is a soft breach: trading pauses for the session, and the limit resets at 5:00 p.m. CT.
Worked example: Legacy 50K
You start at $50,000 with a $2,000 MLL, so the floor is $48,000. The floor follows your highest end-of-day balance: after a day that ends at $51,000, it is $49,000. In the challenge it stops rising at $50,000, your starting balance, which happens once your highest end-of-day balance reaches $52,000. The profit target is $3,000. If your best day made $1,500, that is 50% of the target, so the 40% rule raises the target to $3,750 ($1,500 divided by 0.4).
What breaks or pauses a FundedNext Futures account
- Letting the balance fall to the MLL.
- Holding a trade past the 3:10 p.m. CT close. Positions are closed automatically, and overnight holding is not allowed.
- Hitting the daily loss limit on Rapid Daily, or on Rapid Pro with the add-on, pauses trading for the session; it does not end the account.
- Going 30 calendar days without a trade deactivates the account.
- Breaking the 40% rule in a Flex or Legacy challenge raises the target; it does not end the challenge.
Who runs FundedNext Futures
FundedNext's Futures Challenge Terms name GrowthNext-F.Z.E. (Business Registration No. 28831), which operates the FundedNext brand from the Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. The Terms are governed by UAE law. Payments are processed by Incenteco Trading LTD (HE 307114, Limassol, Cyprus). The US Terms of Service also name affiliates FundedNext Ltd (Comoros) and FundedNext Limited (Hong Kong) for operational roles.
US traders are accepted. A FundedNext help article of May 5, 2026 says US traders can take the futures challenges on NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView, and the US is not on the futures restricted-country list. We have not been able to confirm an NFA registration for FundedNext.
Recent rule changes
- July 10, 2026: the single-path Rapid Challenge was replaced by Rapid Pro & Daily, with two paths chosen at purchase and a 90% reward share. Old Rapid accounts can keep trading but cannot be reset.
- July 10, 2026: the Bolt Challenge was withdrawn from new purchases and resets. Existing Bolt accounts may keep trading.
Some FundedNext pages are out of date: the /futures FAQ still mentions Bolt, and the Futures Challenge Terms still describe Rapid, Bolt and Legacy without mentioning Flex or Rapid Pro & Daily. All changes are in the rule change log. Reward terms are on the FundedNext Futures payout rules page.
Know the riskA FundedNext Futures evaluation is a paid service with simulated trading. Most people who buy an evaluation do not pass it, and firms change their rules, pause payouts and close. Read FundedNext's current rules before you buy. Not investment advice.
