Lucid Trading payout rules give every funded account a 90/10 profit split: you keep 90% of each payout and Lucid keeps 10%. The minimum request is $500 on every plan, and no plan has a fixed payout window. What changes is the gate. LucidPro pays once you clear a buffer and a 40% consistency rule, LucidFlex every five profitable days, LucidDaily daily, and LucidDirect when you reach a profit goal.

A funded Lucid account is simulated. Lucid pays payouts from its own funds under its own terms, and it can change or pause them. Nothing here is a promise of income.

Payout rules on every Lucid plan

  • Split: 90/10. It applies on LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily and LucidDirect. LucidPro accounts bought or reset before 3:00 p.m. EST on November 28, 2025 keep 100% of their first $10,000.
  • Minimum request: $500. The same on every plan and account size.
  • No fixed payout window. You can ask on any day once your plan's conditions are met.
  • Payment methods. Plaid instant bank transfer for US traders; WorkMarket by ADP (bank transfer or PayPal) for US and international traders; crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT or USDC) for international traders.
  • Tax forms. Lucid issues 1099 forms to US traders. Our guide on how to file prop firm taxes covers the US basics.

Payout rules by plan and size

A buffer is a balance level you must stay above before profit can be withdrawn. A consistency rule limits how much of your profit may come from a single day.

* We could not read these three caps from Lucid's LucidPro payout table. We derived them from the same table: the balance it lists for the maximum payout minus the buffer.

How each plan pays

LucidPro

There is no payout window. You can request on any day once three things are true: your balance is above the buffer ($52,100 on a 50K), you made at least the minimum profit for the cycle ($500 on a 50K), and no single day makes up more than 40% of your profit. The first payout is capped lower than later ones. Lucid's LucidPro funded-account article says there are "no simulated payout caps", which contradicts the per-payout maximums in its payout article; the table uses the payout article.

LucidFlex

LucidFlex has no buffer. After every five profitable days, meaning days that end with at least $150 profit on a 50K, you can take up to half of your profit, capped at $2,000 on a 50K. A funded LucidFlex account has no consistency rule. After up to five payouts the account is moved to a live account.

LucidDaily

LucidDaily, launched in July 2026, pays daily. The buffer is the starting balance plus the initial maximum loss limit plus $100, which is $52,100 on a 50K. Once your balance clears it, you can withdraw all profit above it, with no per-request cap. When the account reaches its maximum daily profit ($8,000 on a 50K), Lucid moves it to a live account.

LucidDirect

LucidDirect is instant funding, so there is no evaluation. Each payout needs a profit goal: $3,000 for the first payout on a 50K and $2,500 for each one after it. A 20% consistency rule applies to every payout, so no single day may exceed a fifth of the profit in that cycle.

First payout step by step

  1. Get a funded account: pass LucidPro, LucidFlex or LucidDaily, or buy LucidDirect, which has no evaluation. No Lucid plan charges an activation fee.
  2. Keep the account open. The maximum loss limit (MLL), the lowest your balance may go, still applies, and touching it fails the account.
  3. Meet your plan's gate: buffer and cycle profit (LucidPro), five profitable days (LucidFlex), the buffer (LucidDaily) or the profit goal (LucidDirect).
  4. Check consistency: 40% on LucidPro and 20% on LucidDirect. Funded LucidFlex and LucidDaily accounts have none.
  5. Request at least $500 and no more than your plan's cap.
  6. Choose Plaid, WorkMarket by ADP or crypto. Lucid keeps 10% of the amount.

Worked example: first payout on a 100K LucidPro

You start the funded account at $100,000. After a few sessions the balance is $104,500, a profit of $4,500, and your best day made $1,500. That is 33% of the profit, inside the 40% rule. The balance is $1,400 above the $103,100 buffer, and the profit is well past the $750 cycle minimum. The first payout is capped at $2,500, so you can request the full $1,400. At 90/10, $1,260 goes to you and $140 stays with Lucid.

Moving to a live account

Lucid reviews traders for a live account after the fifth payout, or earlier at its risk team's discretion. Live accounts start at $0 with an end-of-day drawdown, no daily loss limit, no consistency rule and daily payouts. First-time live traders get a one-time Live Bonus of up to $4,500.

Recent payout rule changes

  • November 28, 2025: the LucidPro split changed from 100% of the first $10,000, then 90/10, to 90/10 from the first payout, for accounts bought or reset from 3:00 p.m. EST that day.
  • February 28, 2026: LucidFlex accounts used to move live after the sixth and final payout, with live funding capped at $4,000–$16,000 per account and part held in escrow. Accounts bought or reset after February 27, 2026 move live after up to five payouts and start at $0 with a one-time Live Bonus.

An older Lucid FAQ page still shows a 35% LucidPro consistency rule, while the help center says 40%. No official page dates that change, so we do not log it. All dated changes are in our log of prop firm rule changes. Drawdown, daily loss limit and contract limits are on the Lucid Trading rules page.

Know the riskA Lucid funded account is simulated, and Lucid pays payouts from its own funds under its terms. Lucid can change or pause payouts, and most people who buy an evaluation do not pass it. Not investment advice.
