Lucid Trading is a US futures prop firm run by Lucid Trading Group LLC, a Delaware company. It sells three evaluations (LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDaily), which are paid tests on a simulated account, and LucidDirect, an instant funding plan with no evaluation. Every plan is a one-time purchase with no activation fee and a 90/10 split when funded, and all positions must be closed by 4:45 p.m. ET.

Key rules

Drawdown: the maximum loss limit trails your end-of-day balance on LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect. LucidDaily funded accounts always trail intraday. The floor locks at the starting balance plus $100 once a 50K LucidPro passes $52,100. See EOD vs intraday drawdown.
Daily loss limit: optional on LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDaily, chosen at purchase; the version with a limit costs less. Every daily limit is soft: trading pauses until the next session. See daily loss limit prop firm.
Consistency: LucidPro funded 40%; LucidFlex and LucidDaily evaluations 50%; LucidDirect 20% per payout. See prop firm consistency rule.
Weekend holding: not allowed; open positions are closed at 4:45 p.m. ET. See prop firm weekend holding.

Payouts

All funded accounts split 90/10, and the minimum request is $500. No plan has a fixed payout window. LucidPro pays once you clear the buffer, a profit goal and the 40% rule; LucidFlex every 5 profitable days; LucidDaily daily; LucidDirect at each profit goal ($3,000 first on 50K). Lucid pays by Plaid (US), WorkMarket by ADP or crypto, under its own terms, and can change or pause payouts. Details: Lucid Trading payout rules.

Platforms, status and US clients

Platforms: NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView on the CQG feed; Quantower, Sierra Chart, ATAS, Bookmap, R|Trader Pro and others on the Rithmic feed.
Status: active on September 26, 2026.
US clients: accepted. The United States is not on the restricted countries list, and the FAQ offers Plaid payouts and 1099 forms to US traders.
Registration: not yet checked on the NFA BASIC register.

Recent rule changes

February 28, 2026: LucidFlex accounts bought or reset after February 27 move live after up to 5 payouts, starting at $0 with a one-time Live Bonus.
November 28, 2025: LucidPro accounts bought or reset from this date split 90/10 from the first payout, instead of 100% of the first $10,000.

Is Lucid a legit prop firm?

Lucid Trading Group LLC is a Delaware company, and Lucid was active on September 26, 2026. We have not yet checked it on the NFA BASIC register.

How much does Lucid Trading cost?

LucidPro is listed at $123 for 25K and $192 for 50K, one-time, with no activation fee. LucidFlex, LucidDaily and LucidDirect prices could not be read on an official page.

Does Lucid allow weekend holding?

No. Simulated accounts must be flat by 4:45 p.m. ET, when Lucid closes open positions.

Does Lucid Trading offer crypto?

No. Lucid’s FAQ says it does not offer crypto products; crypto is only a payout method for international traders.
