Take Profit Trader payout rules let a PRO account withdraw from day one, every day, with no payout windows, no minimum profitable days and no maximum. The split is 80/20 in PRO, the simulated funded stage, and 90/10 in PRO+, the live-market stage. The limit is the buffer: in PRO you can withdraw only the balance above your starting balance plus the maximum drawdown.

PRO is simulated. Take Profit Trader pays PRO withdrawals from its own funds under its terms and can change or pause them. Nothing here is a promise of income.

Payout rules in PRO and PRO+

  • Split: 80/20 in PRO and 90/10 in PRO+.
  • From day one, daily. No payout windows, no minimum profitable days and no maximum withdrawal.
  • Buffer (PRO only). The starting balance plus the maximum drawdown, for example $52,000 on a 50K. Only the balance above it can be withdrawn.
  • Profit inside the buffer. It is paid only when the PRO account is terminated: at 50% if the account traded 60 trading days or fewer, and at 80% after that.
  • Minimum. None is stated, but wallet withdrawals of $250 or less carry a $50 fee.
  • Fees to get there. Activating PRO costs $130 once. PRO and PRO+ have no monthly fees, and PRO+ has no activation fee.

How the money reaches you

A payout takes two steps.

  1. Account to wallet. You move money from the PRO or PRO+ account to your Take Profit Trader wallet. For Tradovate PRO accounts this is automated and takes about 5 to 10 seconds. Rithmic PRO, PRO+ and archived accounts are still reviewed by hand.
  2. Wallet to you. Plaid to a US bank (real time or ACH), or PayPal or Wise for international traders. Payouts to an LLC go by Wise or PayPal. Wallet-to-bank payouts are reviewed manually, which can take up to 12 business hours.

US traders are paid through Plaid. Our guide on how to file prop firm taxes covers the US basics.

PRO+

PRO+ is by invitation after a holistic review of your trading. It runs in the live market through Tradovate and pays 90/10 with no buffer. The account starts at $0 with an end-of-day drawdown equal to your PRO account's starting drawdown. When you move up, $5,000 of your PRO profit is frozen while PRO+ is active.

First payout step by step

  1. Pass the Test: reach the profit target in at least 3 trading days (Tests bought from August 17, 2026), with your best day under 50% of net profit.
  2. Pay the $130 activation fee to open PRO. Promotions often waive it.
  3. Trade PRO within its rules: an intraday trailing drawdown, news blackouts and at least one trading day each calendar week.
  4. Grow the balance above the buffer ($52,000 on a 50K).
  5. Move the amount above the buffer from the PRO account to your wallet.
  6. Withdraw from the wallet by Plaid, PayPal or Wise. Amounts over $250 carry no fee.

Worked example: first withdrawal on a 50K PRO

Your PRO balance reaches $53,000. The buffer is $52,000, so $1,000 can be withdrawn. At 80/20, $800 of it is your share. Moving $800 from the wallet to your bank is free because it is over $250; a $200 wallet withdrawal would cost $50. The $2,000 of profit between $50,000 and $52,000 stays in the account and falls under the buffer rule if the account is terminated: 50% within 60 trading days, 80% after.

Know the riskA Take Profit Trader PRO account is simulated, and the firm pays withdrawals from its own funds under its terms. It can change or pause payouts, and most people who buy a Test do not pass it. Not investment advice.
