Take Profit Trader

Take Profit Trader is a futures prop firm run by TakeProfitTrader LLC, a Florida company that launched it in 2021. It sells the Test, a monthly evaluation: a paid service with simulated trading. Pass it and you trade a simulated PRO account at an 80/20 profit split, with withdrawals from day one. No stage has a daily loss limit, and positions cannot be held overnight.

Plans at a glance

• Test in five sizes: 25K, 50K, 75K, 100K and 150K.
• Monthly subscription: $150, $170, $245, $330 and $360 by size. The lowest confirmed price is $150 a month, for the 25K.
• A one-time $130 activation fee opens the PRO account after you pass. PRO and PRO+ have no monthly fee.
• Test resets cost $79 to $199 by size.
• Prices are from the homepage; a May 11, 2026 blog post confirms the 50K price. Promotions often cut prices or waive the activation fee.

Key rules

• Drawdown (the loss level that ends the account): an end-of-day trailing drawdown in the Test, intraday trailing that counts open profits in PRO, and end of day again in PRO+. See EOD vs intraday drawdown.
• Daily loss limit: none in the Test, PRO or PRO+.
• Consistency rule: in the Test your best day must be under 50% of net profit. Breaking it raises the profit goal; it does not fail the Test. None in PRO or PRO+.
• Weekend holding: not allowed. Open positions are closed at 4:55 p.m. ET every day.
• News trading: allowed in the Test. In PRO and PRO+ you must be flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after FOMC, NFP and CPI releases.
• Activation fee (paid to start the funded account): $130 once, for PRO.
• Minimum trading days: 3 for Tests bought from August 17, 2026. Older and reset Tests keep 5.

Payouts

• The profit split (your share first) is 80/20 in PRO and 90/10 in PRO+, the live-market stage offered by invitation.
• Withdrawals are daily from day one, with no payout windows, no minimum profitable days and no maximum.
• In PRO you can withdraw only the balance above the buffer: the starting balance plus the maximum drawdown, $52,000 on a 50K. Wallet withdrawals of $250 or less cost $50.

Platforms, status and US clients

• Platforms: TradingView, NinjaTrader and Tradovate on the CQG data feed; Quantower, R|Trader and others on Rithmic. PRO+ runs through Tradovate.
• Status: active when checked on September 26, 2026.
• US clients: accepted. The United States is not on the firm’s restricted-country list, and US traders are paid through Plaid to US bank accounts.
• Registration: not yet checked on the NFA BASIC register. Take Profit Trader’s website says it is not a broker, that neither the NFA nor the CFTC requires a funding firm to be a member, and that live PRO+ accounts use Tradovate as the regulated broker.

Recent rule changes

• August 17, 2026: the minimum to pass a new Test fell from 5 trading days to 3.
• May 16, 2026 (announced May 11): Test resets changed from a flat $100 to $79-$199 by size.
• Date not given: Tradovate PRO withdrawals to the wallet became automated (about 5 to 10 seconds) instead of a manual review of up to 12 business hours.
