FTMO opened a futures program on September 17, 2026. The Prague firm says FTMO Futures sells two plans, Growth and Pro, on Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView. Both run on an end-of-day trailing drawdown that locks at the starting balance, carry no activation fee, and pay a 90/10 split. The plans are paid evaluations traded in simulation.
Growth and Pro plans
The press release names the two plans and puts the profit-target-to-drawdown ratio as low as 1:1. A consistency rule, which limits how much of the total profit may come from a single day, applies during the evaluation only, the firm says. Growth has no daily loss limit during the evaluation; the release describes Pro as having tighter daily risk management, without publishing the numbers. FTMO presented the launch as an answer to demand: “For years, traders have asked FTMO to bring its experience to futures,” the release says.
The drawdown rule
An end-of-day drawdown is measured from the account’s closing balance rather than from intraday equity. FTMO says both plans use one and that it locks permanently at the starting balance, so the loss limit stops following new profit once the account is above its opening level.
Payouts
All payouts are split 90/10 in the trader’s favor, the firm says. On Pro, a trader can request up to 100% of available profit per cycle, subject to a per-payout cap of $5,000 to $8,000 depending on account size. The announcement gives no activation fee.
Platforms and background
The accounts trade on Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView, according to the release. FinanceFeeds describes FTMO Futures as a separate program built around listed futures data and rules, launched after FTMO’s acquisition of OANDA.
What traders should check
The launch announcement does not list account sizes, evaluation prices, the daily risk numbers on Pro, payout frequency, or the rules on holding positions overnight or through news. Those terms decide whether a plan suits a given trading style, so read the firm’s own rule and payout documents before paying for an evaluation.
