Tradeify vs Lucid is a close match on the basics: both sell one-time evaluations with no activation fee, an end-of-day trailing drawdown, a 90/10 funded split and a 4:45 p.m. ET close. The differences are in the details. Tradeify Select makes you choose Flex or Daily payouts after passing; Lucid makes the daily loss limit optional on LucidPro and LucidFlex. All are paid evaluations traded in simulation.

Cost: one-time at both, no activation fee

Neither firm bills monthly or charges to activate a funded account. A Tradeify Growth 50K costs $145 and a Select 50K $165, or $205 with the add-on that loosens the consistency rule to 50% and cuts the minimum to two days. LucidPro 50K lists at $192; on September 30, 2026 Lucid's homepage showed it at a limited-time $140.40. Tradeify allows up to 10 resets per evaluation per 30 days. The evaluation cost calculator works through the cost of several attempts.

Drawdown and daily limits

Both firms trail the drawdown on your end-of-day balance, so an open loss during the day does not move the floor. On Tradeify Select and LucidPro 50K the floor stops at $50,100 once your end-of-day balance reaches $52,100. The daily loss limit is where they part. Tradeify fixes it by plan: $1,250 on Growth, none in the Select evaluation, and $1,000 once funded if you pick Select Daily. Lucid lets you switch it on or off at checkout on LucidPro and LucidFlex. The mechanics are explained in EOD vs intraday drawdown and daily loss limit prop firm.

Consistency: before or after passing

Both firms put the consistency rule on one side of the pass, never both. Tradeify Select and LucidFlex apply it in the evaluation (40% and 50%) and drop it once funded. Tradeify Growth and LucidPro do the reverse: nothing to pass, then 35% and 40% on each payout. The general idea is on the prop firm consistency rule page.

Payouts: capped cycles at both

Every funded account at both firms pays 90/10, and every request is capped. Tradeify Select Flex and LucidFlex work the same way: five qualifying days, then up to half your profit, capped at $2,500 at Tradeify and $2,000 at Lucid. Tradeify Select Daily lets you request every day above a $2,100 buffer, up to twice the profit since your last request and $1,250. LucidPro pays any day once you clear the $52,100 buffer, earn $500 in the cycle and pass the 40% rule, capped at $2,000 on the first payout and $2,500 after. The minimum request at Lucid is $500.

Worked example: $3,000 of profit on a 50K funded account

  • Tradeify Select Flex. After 5 winning days of $150 or more you can request 50% of your $3,000 profit, $1,500, below the $2,500 cap. At 90/10 you receive $1,350.
  • LucidFlex. After 5 days of $150 or more you can request 50% of your profit, $1,500, below the $2,000 cap. At 90/10 you receive $1,350.
  • LucidPro. Your balance is $53,000. Only profit above the $52,100 buffer can be requested, so the most you can take is $900, as long as no day brought 40% or more of the cycle's profit. At 90/10 you receive $810.

Rules that trip traders up

  • Short trades. On Tradeify funded accounts, more than half your trades and more than half your profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds, or you cannot request a payout. Lucid flags an account when more than half its profit comes from trades held 5 seconds or less.
  • Select is a one-way choice. Once you pick Tradeify Select Flex or Select Daily after passing, you cannot switch.
  • LucidFlex ends after five payouts. After the fifth payout the account goes to Lucid's live review, and Lucid closes your simulated accounts when you move live.

Who each firm suits

  • Tradeify fits a trader who wants a choice of payout style after passing: Flex for larger capped payouts every five winning days, or Daily for small daily requests with a daily loss limit. Growth suits passing in a day, with a fixed daily limit and a 35% rule on payouts. The platform list includes WealthCharts.
  • Lucid fits a trader who wants to decide on the daily loss limit at checkout and keep full contract size from day one on LucidPro. LucidFlex suits traders happy to meet a 50% rule to pass in exchange for no rule once funded. The Rithmic platform list is the longer of the two.

Firm by firm, the full rules are on Tradeify rules, Tradeify payout rules, Lucid Trading rules and Lucid Trading payout rules. Changes to either firm are logged in the rule change log; see also Apex vs Topstep and Apex vs MyFundedFutures.

Know the riskBoth firms sell paid evaluations traded in simulation. Most people who buy one do not pass, payouts come from each firm's own funds under its terms, and firms change rules, pause payouts and close. Not investment advice.
